He has helped promote the development of stereotactic radiosurgery, intraoperative MR imaging and MRI-guided focused ultrasound surgery in neurosurgery.ĭr. Alexander has also taught at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, University of Virginia School of Medicine, Boston Children’s Hospital, and the Dana–Farber Cancer Institute.
